Meter Data Processing
PSI's software package PSIGamess was designed as a universally applicable solution for the processing of gas measurement raw data and additional measurement values as well as their provision for the billing of quantities, capacities and contract partners. The system takes physical values from different registration systems (e.g. MRG, data storage, DS-xxx, cassettes, code cards, dispatching systems) as well as DSfG data and processes them and provides the results as accurate hourly quantities for billing systems or other systems.
PSIGamess performs the following particular tasks:
- Data acquisition from DSfG retrieval systems, dispatching systems or other sources
- Processing of DSfG data
- preparation of performance oriented meter reading protocols for gas measurements
- provision of 'processed' data for evaluation systems
- acquisition of selected 'processed' data from GAMESS systems at partner companies (GAMESS partner) and provision of selected 'processed' data for GAMESS partners via WAN
- basic data administration
- authorisation checks, using the features available in standardised operating systems, databases and network components, to ensure a reliable protection against unauthorised external access
