Communication System
In order to ensure fast and reliable communication between the components of a gas management system and other third party systems, PSI has developed a communication system especially tailored to the needs of the gas industry. With an increase in trading activity in liberalised markets and the emergence of a new generation of gas business messaging, PSI has adopted standards such as Edig@s, to ensure conformity with new standards.
The system functions as a data turntable for gas data and gas messages. It is thus possible to exchange availability messages, nominations, hourly process data (i. e. gas characteristics) as well as delivered and transported quantities.
