Gas Management System

In addition to SCADA functionality which guaranties reliable management of the entire gas network, PSI's Gas Management System (PSIGMS) also contains several integrated functions as well as modulated high-order functions and gas business applications. This ensures that the interplay between dispatchers, procurement managers, transporters, shippers, traders, planning and billing managers is optimised and supported. These functions cover all presently known roles in the liberalised market. They include dispatch planning (daily, weekly...), contract handling, consumption forecast, simulation (concurrent, look-ahead, what-if), leak detection and localisation, gas quality tracking and optimisation. Moreover, a client concept, including an authorisation system, effectively ensures access protection for all contract information stored in the system.
