PSI Awarded Contract from Danish Energy Provider SEAS-NVE
Network control system PSIcontrol for scheme planning generation
Berlin, 21 December 2006 – The PSI AG has been charged by the Danish energy provider SEAS-NVE, Svinninge, with the delivery of the network control system PSIcontrol. With that, SEAS-NVE is replacing the existing systems and will manage the 132 and 50 kV as well as the medium voltage networks with the new PSIcontrol system.
The operationally required network scheme planning is generated automatically on the basis of a GIS (geographic information system) data import. This significantly reduces the administrative and coordination expenses for the company. In addition, the through-put times for future changes in the network will be reduced.
With 375,000 electricity customers, 312,000 network customers and about 550 employees, SEAS-NVE is the second largest energy distributor in Denmark.
With the SEAS-NVE contract PSI remains on the road to success internationally and enjoys another important reference in Scandinavia for the core and export strategy.
PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, machinery, plant construction, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,000 persons in the group.
