PSI Founds International Subsidiary in Moscow

Intensified sales and partner support for Russia

Berlin, 20 November 2006 – PSI AG has initiated the accreditation process for a subsidiary in Moscow, Russia, with the goal of sales and partner support in the expanding Russian market. The main sales emphases are systems in the PSI business segments gas and oil (gas and oil control systems with leak detection), electrical power (control systems and workforce management), logistics (warehouse management, transport management and airports) and steel (production planning and control). The Moscow subsidiary will be managed by Oleg Ivanov (35), who has a wealth of experience in systems sales.

 

Within the framework of its core business and internationalisation strategy, PSI already cooperates successfully with important Russian sales and service partners such as Optima SDC, National Logistics Company (NLC), Novintech and IKT Group. Reinforced by a subsidiary of its own, PSI intends, together with these and others, to double its current incoming order volume of 4 million Euro in this region within two years.

 

With the founding of this new firm in Russia, PSI now has another important agency at its disposal, besides existing subsidiaries in China and Poland, in the target markets that are relevant for PSI.

 

PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers. PSI was founded in 1969 and currently employs more than 1,000 persons in the group.
