PSI presents new solutions for the energy industry at the E-world 2012
Berlin, 25 January 2012 – PSI will present from 7 to 9 February 2012 at the E-world in Essen in Germany (Hall 3, Stand 354) the entire spectrum of the energy industry standard solution PSImarket as well as the integration to the Gas Analysis and Planning System (GAPS). In addition, solutions from the field of gas logistics and the web-based data portal PSIportal will be demonstrated.
The main focus will be on solutions for energy trading with portfolio and risk management, energy sales, sales planning and controlling, sales and price forecasts, energy logistics with nominations, balancing group management with balancing group billing electricity (German MaBis), schedules, capacity and supply management and billing. In addition to a new method for portfolio optimisation, numerous other innovations are included. Furthermore, gas-economic analysis and planning, evaluation and optimisation of gas storage facilities, operational planning and control, and presented their integration with PSImarket.
The Web-based solution PSIportal was designed for accessing dynamic gas dispatching data. PSIportal enables the visualisation of data from various sources in a Web portal. In addition, for operators of gas storage the solution PSItransstore with extensive capabilities for storage, contract and schedule management will be demonstrated.
As part of the research project "Smart Watts", PSI presents for the first time extracts of the system components for the intelligent energy management of the future.
PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own software products, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil, heat), production management (metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, mining, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1.450 persons in the group.
