The PSI operational planning application has been designed to support the automated operation of oil pipelines and tank farms. With this system all tanker unloading processes, pumping processes and deliveries to the output terminals can be manually or automatically planned.
At the same time tank stock and tank farms must be constantly updated, compliance with contamination tables must be monitored and conflicts in processes avoided.
The operational planning system is set up for multiple users and is distributed over several locations. To ensure that the system is smoothly embedded in the existing heterogeneous IT structure, interfaces designed to exchange data in common formats are available.
