A gas supply enterprise's planning operations are concentrated primarily on disposition and load distribution. This includes covering the forecasted need for each observed time period (usually day, week, month) with the help of contractual and process resources. Disposition and load distribution deliver effective support to the disposition personnel and the dispatcher for handling gas procurement, storage and cutoff contracts while taking into account contractually specified transport obligations.
Our systems provide a series of components for the actual tasks of planning, monitoring and managing contracts, as well as reporting and revising procurement contracts. Given appropriate degrees of freedom optimisation methods can support disposition procedures. Since an optimisation application (e.g., gas procurement optimisation) must always be tailored to an enterprise's actual demands and special circumstances, this module is always implemented individually using basic components. Tasks of the optimised gas grid control (transport optimisation) can be combined with the optimal utilisation of contracts in the short-term (e.g., on the current gas day).
